This has been bothering me for a bit, but the menu navigation isn't lined up evenly. "Home" is a couple pixels higher than the others, and a couple closer.
Also, a few of the other buttons are in a similar alignment. "New Thread', for example.
It's an OCD thing.

I agree. The Home button would look much better positioned correctly.

I think it's deliberate. Designers that good don't leave things like that if they're wrong. I quite like it actually.

Its not deliberate... trust me lol, the problem is that face that since its on a transparent background all the letters with tails (y p j etc you get the idea) put the whole work 1 pixel higher, this is something thats been REALLY bothering me since pre release and i might just make a whole now button set that all look like the little "IP: " button (look at the bottom of your posts in the right hand corner.

Yes, when we were in the designing and coding stage of TS we had many issues that needed to be worked on, and as stated in another suggestion i said that nearly all of our buttons were not aligned correctly until a lot of time was spent fixing them up.

Yeah, that's what I considered at first, too. Then I thought... It's not obvious enough that it was done on purpose. P:
What I do to get around transparency and misalignment is get out my header, stick the buttons on it and line 'em up, crop from the base of the header to a couple pixels above the buttons, hide the buttons for a bit and make what's left of the header into the menu background, then show the buttons again and crop them individually.
It doesn't always work out right the first time -- it takes some tweaking and adding a certain number of pixels to either side of the button sometimes, but in the end, it's more efficient if done correctly. [:
lol that made no sense.

No no i tried that, the problem is that is the code we use makes that not work for some reason (no idea why) trust me all the images are the same height and alignment. Expect an update in the near future that fixes this with a whole new set of buttons that have a uniform character size. Either that or in v2

Me and Jye haven't worked that out exactly yet but i think the general consensus is when/if we reach about 50 members.

Well i wanted to make a sig to rep the forum and get more members. i like it here.... bunch of good ppl just looking to help others and share.... i never really hear or see bragging in here.
so for that when i learn more i wanted to make a good TS sig. if the admins allow me to.

V2 doesn't even need to be spoken about yet. We have been open for about 2 weeks now, no need at all to even mention V2. It is a long way away.

Haven't read the whole thread yet but have you tried slicing the images all the same size?
