Just another update to the Battle Board.
It now has a sub board housing all of the finished battle. Should help to keep it a bit cleaner.

No problem. Yeah should make it easier to find the threads that need voting now.

I'm not sure a voting board is really necessary but it might help with space. Couldn't the voting be done in the same thread?

Well the thread the that they submit to will be messy already, with a new voting thread its just easier to see whos voting and whos just commenting or spamming

Yes that is a good idea. And polls don't work right?

Actually i think polls would work but you cannot stop the voting on a certain number. So it wouldnt be accurate.

Well for that you could make the voting a week. But also, a poll would be on the honor system as people can vote for themselves on polls without people knowing.

Is there maybe no way to use JS to maybe automatically lock the thread at a certain number? And maybe move it into a finished battles board or something? Maybe say your vote only counts as long as you post saying who you voted for as well? Although that defeats the object of having a poll really.

Well don't people select different numbers of votes to go to? I'd guess it would be hard to code it for each number that people chose unless there is a set one.

That would not work out well considering different amounts of votes for different battles, unless i was able to edit the actual proboards software.
Alternatively it could work if there was a certain few allowed voting amounts, etc: 3 votes, 5 votes, 10 votes. I could then make variables containing each and go from there, when creating a new thread in the battle board a user would have to enter their desired amount, which would then run a certain part of the code for each voting amount.

I like that idea Jye! If you could make that work it'd be awesome!

I will look into it. Although a poll would serve that purpose.
