The forum looks really cool so far. Sorry I wasn't there for it at the beginning.
As for the number of tables for posts, replies, etc... I do it the same way Jye does it. One table for all the posts. It's much easier for me to keep track of things that way. I have a thread id, a post id, and another field that lets the code know where it's the first post or not. As for ordering them, I just find all posts in the database with the same thread id and order them by post id. *shrugs*
simple.

Nah, that's what's cool about coding. Everyone can have their own style, do things differently, and still have the same (or similar) result.

Unless you're me, in which case you get no result. But yeah, I was trying the whole thing out properly today, and I can't find any bugs that you don't already know about.
Is this gonna be released for public use, or kept as a personal project?

Still a lot needs to be fixed but it is getting there. Exactly, Yilduz and i may use the same sort of Table schema's and use them in the same manner, but if you look at our actual PHP coding it is completely different. And as long as we think ahead of ourselves it is easy to set everything up so more features for that table can be implemented in the future. Thank you idesign, i actually thought i had all the errors sorted out before releasing it, but after looking at the code last night it seems that the last post on the main page has locked itself to what is already there. This will be released for public use, probably open source, but that is still a while away. A lot of fixes and more features need to be included first.

Few things: First, I just registered/posted on your Beta, and it looks pretty sweet (hmm, maybe I should call mine a beta, though it will basically always be in that stage, as will the rest of my site..). I posted a few suggestions/bugs I found on your board, as well.
Second, I'm also someone who has a separate table for posts and replies, though technically the only thing that's stored in the post table is the topic title, the ID #'s of the first (starter) and last post (used to avoid a database lookup), and a few other things (locked/pinned status).
