So i had an idea to code up a custom field for the profile which would show up under your user name in the mini profile. Each member can edit their own custom field in their edit profile page.
This area would be used for a members status. By this i mean you could add a current project you are working on, add something you are currently learning etc.
Anyone like the idea?

Like the idea, yeah. Can we put anything in there, or is it limited to a project etc.

Depends on what would be added. But mainly i did intend for it to be used for projects you may be working on or techniques you are learning etc.
What did you have in mind?

I like this idea I doubt I would be using it though if it's for project status since I don't really do "projects", unless it can be a little more flexible?

This could be a little bit like a custom title but I think custom titles should be saved as a reward for lots of points. Otherwise, it wouldnt be special anymore.
It could be maybe in the "Other" box and have something that says: 'Status:' before it.

Depends what were your ideas to put in there? General mood status, what book I'm reading/short story I'm working on, recent artwork added to DA...just random stuff lol Would that be allowed?

Maybe there could be a few fields you can enter. Like anything appropriate.

That all sounds fine, and i think could intertwine with what Rubber Ducky said below. Maybe there could be a few fields you can enter. Like anything appropriate. A certain field for each topic, ex: Current Project, Current Book, Recent work, Mood. As Gem suggested above. I will take this all into consideration and maybe this could become a new feature with the release of V2

Oh yeah there could be a place where you select a field and then if the field you want is not there, there would be an enter your own field place. Before that we should have a thread for field ideas
