With the mini profile on the right side, it can make it a bit harder to tell where one person's post and sig ends and where the next begins. I think the problem would be eliminated if users didn't have a signature, but many people like having them, especially in a graphics forum. I think if there was a bit more of a separation between the posts, it would be easier to tell at a glance.

Yes. A seperation between posts would help a lot.

Also, if they don't have a signature, then it is really hard to tell where the post ends.

The posts kinda all look lumped together. We're saying that they'd look better separated a little.

If you don't want to seperate the posts, then how about having the Window BG and BG2 in slightly different shades of grey? At the moment it's hard to see because the background is all one colour, but I'm sure you could find another hex code for a slightly lighter grey and do one of the window backgrounds in that - so the actual posts would be light-dark-light which would help each one be indentifible seperately Your title bar gradients are textured and are made up of various shades, so you could match properties to one of those and try it out, see how it looks.

Because then some of the images would have an incompatible background. I used JPG for the smileys because i wanted tS to be compatible with IE6

I'm not sure what you mean tbh (oh, I see lol, just right clicked and opened on it's own) I guess supplying a link to a free transparency hack for all pre IE6 users is out of the question then you could make them transparent background? My other suggeestion which sucks would be give each member their own posting colour, I'm sure I've seen a code, but the range of blues you could use - most would look the same to the unobservant eye lol. I don't actually mind the setup, I do have to keep checking the Profile to see who posted it though. Ummm, how about the "Post Brought To You By" code from the Database? It adds the members username to the post...

Either that or i can do a separate bit of coding for IE, which would of course mean most of the stuff would have to be hosted off of this forum and set up on a hosting account. While i see no problem in doing this it would take a while and would definitely slow our loading times a fair bit.
The "post brought to you by" would is logical, although i would wait on X to view this to see what his opinions are.

The loading speeds are good, so if by hosting images off site would slow it down, I would say leave it then. I do think the 2 window BG colours would be best...if the smileys were transparent. But just something to add the members name to each post would be the simpliest and quickest way to make posts easier to identify
