Basically, I was having a good day until about fourth period.
Because one person didn't do their frigging homework over the half term, we have three exam papers to do, due in tomorrow morning. Oh yeah, that's not the end of it; then on thursday, I'm supposed to go into a five minute appointment at school to see how my year is going so far, but NOOO. I'm in for the whole day because I haven't finished ONE piece of work in maths. And my appointment time is........
wait for it.....
8:05 AM!
Which means I need to leave the house at roughly 7:35 am. I'm not even thinking about getting up at that time. I'm going to be late for the appointment whether they like it or not. >.>

Don't you just love how appointments like that always get booked very early in the morning! Either way i know what school is like, don't try to fight that just attend the appointment and leave it at that.

Dude just use school as best you can. I think the teachers all forget that its about YOU not them. Its about YOUR education and thatrs the only reason they are employed.

Really though, because one person didn't revise we all got a load of papers to do? Taking it too far, even my mum said that and she's all for extra homework. xD Thursday, I can kind of understand about, but 8:05 am? Makes me wonder how my tutor sleeps, really.
I just can't wait till I get out of school. I honestly can't. I won't have my teachers to moan at me because I haven't done my tie how they like it, or my top button not being done up. xD

You must be in a private school, no? It's nothing like that at public out here... Of course, every once in a while, if a certain group of students decide to act up, then we'll get extra homework... But that doesn't happen often because the teachers don't care enough. P:
8:05 isn't that bad. Try having to be at school at 5 am for drivers ed. :3 That means waking up at 4 or 4:15 am. About four or five hours of sleep there.
Anyway, from the sounds of it, this "appointment" is meant to be helpful. And who knows, maybe it will be. It's easiest to just look at the positive side and get it over with.

Anyway, from the sounds of it, this "appointment" is meant to be helpful. And who knows, maybe it will be. It's easiest to just look at the positive side and get it over with. First off, I go to a public school. =P But they believe they're teaching a private one. >.> This appointment thing is known as Student Progress Review, happens every half term, and basically you just sit down and tell your tutor if the year is going well or not, and if it's not, he / she will pretty much just tell you that you're in the wrong in all situations. It cant be as bad as when i did rowing. 6 days a week i woke up at 4am so i could get to school at 4:45am. FOR A WHOLE YEAR! Just....why? xD I remember going on duty with St. John ambulance and I did a weekend there, as it was a weekend duty, so we all set up tents and done day/night shift as first aiders. xD Luckily, I got the day shift both times, but it meant I needed to be up and have my first aid kit fully stocked by 9 am. ;.;

On a normal school day I would leave the house at eight, but on a day off, I don't get out of bed till around eleven am. xD

Now, I think this is a crime. I have my maths GCSE tomorrow, but because I'm in second set, I have to stay in for the whole day, where as top set comes in at 9 AM, does their exam then goes home. D=

Bottom set is like people who are expected to fail, middle set is those who are expected to get a low pass, top set is those who are expected to pass no matter what.
