Like in the banner here, how did you make the shapes? I tried with the pen tool but they came out looking pretty bad. Any suggestions?

Its a little bit like the banner here, cept the banner has my secret recipe of herbs and spices I used the pen tool myself, try editing it on the fly. So far example, click for your first anchor point, then click for your second and hold. You can now create a curve, click again and continue on with your shape. Another way to get cool shapes is using the elipse tool then modifying the anchor points with a convert point tool.

I can try that I guess. What is the convert point tool and editing the pen tool on the fly?

You get the convert point tool by clicking the pen tool and holding down. Yeh and i meant you can edit the shapes as you go before you finish.

I will be looking at this later, the metal effect here is lovely. I always used a more simple add noise + motion blur method, but that never looked very real without aything done to it. Okay, here's my result: wimg.co.uk/e5aznf.pngFairly happy with it.
