Tis a well known testing method. I believe it's called "Testing To Destruction".

I Must agree that it worked. X basically broke my forum. I gave him access to the admin panel to make a few boards, so he made some and somehow changed the order so now it is all messed up. He is currently logged off but his name is on the users online list 2 times but i know of that problems already. He ruined the posts and every time he replied to my thread he got my signature and post count, vise versa. I am working on that problem now. When i get those problems fixed the beta will be out.

2 of the bugs X found are fixed. Each user who makes a reply to a thread now has their own post count and signature instead of the poster above them.
The main page board display is now fixed and they should all display in order.
Working on the users online problem now.

Fixed the last bug. The users online.
Now if you get logged out from not doing anything on the page for a period of time your name is also removed from the list. This was a simple fix.
Yilduz: If you still need help with your users online, let me know and i'll show you the easy way.

what did you do X? It is ruined? Nah it just seems that my fix for the users online bug didn't work. Judging my the error message, it seems my host has moved the temp folder somehow, i will look into that. I guess my last option for a fix is to use the init php but i need to get around the automatic session garbage on any host. I believe i can set the max lifetime of a session to 0 which means unlimited, but then the automatic session garbage won't pick it up meaning anyone who uses this forum will get their space filled up with all the session data. I'll sort something out.

Screenshot time. wimg.co.uk/4edK3a.jpgThat is what the forum looks like on a clean installation before any registered members, posts or boards have been made. That is also the default skin. I did wan't to release the beta today but there are a few more bugs i need to fix. I may be releasing the beta later on. Also, added new section to the profile. You can now insert your age, location and personal text.

Thanks x, and the beta should of been out by now, but since those few errors with the newer version of PHP it has slowed down a bit.
Also there was an error with validation emails, it seems to only send to gmail and no other email services. I am looking into a fix for this at the moment.

Are you still having an issue with the mail relay Jye? If so are you trying to send the email from your local test server? Most mail servers (Google being the only exception I've found so far) reject mail coming in from what they consider "fake" hostnames. This includes localhost and domains who's reverse DNS lookups don't match up.
So if gmail is receiving it then you'll be okay once the software is up and running on a legit domain.
